Course format

  • This classroom course consists of 4 days of instruction delivered by a certified DG Instructor.
  • Participant performance will be based on an assessment.

Prerequisite

  • You must hold a valid Dangerous Goods Regulations for Preparing dangerous goods Personnel certificate (or equivalent Category 1,2) for the entire duration of the course you attend.
  • Recommended level is Intermediate.
  • Recommended level of language proficiency is  ICAO Operational Level 4.

  • Packing, marking and labelling requirements: UNSpecifications, limited quantities and other packaging
  • Reporting to appropriate authorities as required

Certificate awarded

An IATA Certificate of Completion is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 80% or higher on an assessment. A special distinction is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 90% or higher.
